Steps
- 1
In a pan add little ghee and as it's bit hot fry and take out kishmish. Next fry cashews and then almonds.
Keep all these aside. Next in the same pan some more ghee. Fry pieces of roughly chopped breads. As breads turn into golden brown take out and keep aside.
Next make sugar syrup.
Take sugar and water. Add crushed cardamoms. Boil at slow flame till syrup attains almost one strand consistency. Switch off.Keep it warm. - 2
Side by side boil milk till it reduces. Add salt, milk powder and mix well to make it lump free. Add saffron strands. So we get nice evaporated milk.
- 3
Next switch the flame on place the warm sugar syrup. Put the fried breads into it and mix.
Breads will absorb the syrup. Now put this sweet sucked breads into the evaporated milk. - 4
Mix nicely. Put a tbsp of ghee and mix well again.
- 5
Add the ghee fried dry fruits and kishmish. Mix all well gently. Let it be on slow flame for sometime. All the flavours get combined and colour of the meetha becomes alluring.
- 6
Switch off then. Garnish with some almonds and serve.
You can serve it warm or even after it cools. Depends upon preference. - 7
