Cabbage and Corn Stir Fried In Butter

A famous TV chef made this once some time ago, but I forgot to write down the recipe, so I kind of guessed at it and made my own version. It was really good, so it's been making regular appearances ever since.
Even my son who doesn't like stir fried vegetables normally can eat this up.
I usually use salted butter, so add salt sparingly.
You can use soup stock granules (about 1 to 2 g) instead of salt and pepper to season the dish. Please try it out!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Take off the cabbage leaves one by one, and cut out any hard cores.
- 2
The cabbage leaves are best when big, so cut in half or in thirds.
- 3
Wash the leaves quickly and pat dry with paper towels.
- 4
Heat the butter in a frying pan and add the cabbage. Stir fry until the butter coats the leaves.
- 5
When the cabbage has wilted add the corn and continue stir frying. Season with salt and pepper.
- 6
When the cabbage has nicely browned it's done.

Cabbage and Bean Sprouts Stir Fried in Miso Butter Cabbage and Bean Sprouts Stir Fried in Miso Butter
I wanted to make a dish using lots of cabbage. This is filling even without any meat in it! It really goes well with rice. The seasonings are on the salty side, but they'll be just right when cooked with the vegetables since the vegetables will exude a lot of moisture. When stir-frying the vegetables, add the cabbage at the end so that it doesn't get mushy. This is a matter of taste, but I think it's best if this is salted generously, since the salt enhances the butter and makes the stir fry go really well with plain rice.If you add some meat the stir-fry will be even more delicious. For 3 to 5 servings. Recipe by Nanohana uchan cookpad.japan -

Stir Fried Cabbage and Walnuts with Lemon Butter Stir Fried Cabbage and Walnuts with Lemon Butter
For my family's health, I feel it's better to reduce the amount of salt in our everyday meals. But it gets boring if the food is too bland, so I made a recipe that is tasty and pungent even with less salt.It might taste bitter if the walnut skin isn't completely removed, so if you are using raw walnuts, make sure to peel the skin well in step 2. It really makes a difference. Recipe by caramel-cookie cookpad.japan -
