1. Chop the onion, cilantro, and bacon.

2. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy and all the fat is rendered. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet (you can remove excess fat if desired), sauté one clove of garlic, add the beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook slowly so the meat releases its juices.

4. Blend the tomatillos, serrano peppers, the other garlic clove, the large piece of onion, and water. Add this mixture to the beef.

5. Add the beans and their broth at the end. Bring to a boil again.

6. Serve topped with chopped onion, cilantro, and crispy bacon.
