Healthy Fritters with Kala Chana or Black Chickpeas and Corn for a healthy Snacking at anytime of the day or especially at Tea-time.
They are very easily done as well. Instead of deep frying, they can be baked as well.
And even though they are fried, these are a way lot healthier too. And since these are made from soaked Pulses, they don't require any additional water to bind them and not only that, they don't absorb any Oil.
Drain them thoroughly and serve with your family's favourite dip or sauce. You can even shallow fry these if desired shaping these as Cutlets.
Whatever be your way of making, they are absolutely healthy and beneficial.

Soak chana overnight or for at least 7-8 hours. Later grind it coarsely along sweet corn.

And add the rest of the ingredients to the batter now. Mix well and adjust spices accordingly. Set aside until the oil gets heated up for frying.

Deep fry in hot Oil by dropping small balls of the batter slowly taking care. You can do it with your hands or use a spoon for the purpose. Fry in batches of two or three until golden brown and crisp. Do it on a medium high heat only. Otherwise they will burn and will be under cooked.

Serve these healthy Fritters or Pakoras with your choice of Chutney. Enjoy!
