Sophisticated Pineapple Sandesh

Raksha Bandhan is one of the oldest festivals of India. It celebrates the bond of love between the siblings. On this day, we all exchange, sweets with each other. As my all brothers are residing far away, I dedicate this dessert/sweet to them. To show of orange zest and saffron. It is so pretty to look at too. This sandesh, is a very special dessert and steals the show in any party. Very easy to make, yet sophisticated. This dish will not let you down. Do try it. #rakhi #sangitakalra

Steps
- 1
Make sugar syrup, till little thick. Add in the gulab jal and soak, all the pineapple pieces in it. If using tinned ones skip soaking them. Keep it overnight or at least 4-5 hours.
- 2
You can use the grind Chenna, along with sugar and cream. Add the orange zest and honey. Mix nicely to get a creamy texture. Now drain the pineapple pieces from the sugar syrup. Cut in round shape from center.
- 3
Apply Chenna mixture on top of it. Garnish with all garnishings and chill them. Enjoy...

Notes
This dessert is very delicate and should be consumed the same day as it has orange rind which can make it bitter if kept for long.
