Ingredients

30min
5-7 people
  • For Sambhar-
  • 1 small bottlegourd,
  • 1 small eggplant,
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion cut in shells
  • 1 cuparhar daal
  • 2 cupswater
  • 1 tspmustard seeds,
  • 6-7curry leaves
  • 1-2, dried red chilli
  • 2-3 tspsambhar masala
  • as per tastesalt
  • 2 tspghee
  • 1 tsptamarind paste
  • 1 tspjaggery powder
  • For Oats and Ragi-
  • 2cup oats(soaked in water with fenugreek seed soaked for 20min
  • 1 cupragi flour
  • 4-6 tspsemolina
  • 1 cupcurd
  • As requiredwater for consistency
  • as per tastesalt
  • As requiredmelted butter for toasting
  • 4-5curry leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    For Sambhar- Firstly prepare daal,for it add washed daal in cooker and add water,some turmeric and salt

  2. 2

    Mix it well then close the lid of pressure cooker...when 3whistle came turn off the gas

  3. 3

    Meanwhile heat a kadhai add ghee,mustard seeds and curry leaf after that add slicely cut onions....saute it well

  4. 4

    After that add tomatoes and masalas,cook in a meduim to low flame

  5. 5

    Add vegetables,masalas...cook for a while then add water,tamarind paste,jaggery powder and close the lid and cook it well

  6. 6

    Then add prepared daal in a prepared veggies mixer....sambhar is ready

  7. 7

    For Dosa- Take a grinder add soaked oats,ragi,curd,semolina and some water...grind it well and make a dosa batter consistency

  8. 8

    Add salt as per taste,some curry leaves...mix it well

  9. 9

    Heat a tawa splatter some water and wipe it with cloth then greease some oil and pour the dosa batter....spread it and cook in a low meduim flame

  10. 10

    Grease some butter and cook with both the sides

  11. 11

    Its ready....prepare all the dosa in a same way
