  2. 1 cupsugar
  3. 1/3 cupwater
  4. Optional : salt, chilli flakes/powder,

    In a pan add almonds, water and sugar.

    Cook on med-low heat stirring constantly until water evaporates and sugar starts to crystallize.

  3. 3

    Continue to stir until the sugar melts and turns to a caramel.(this process is very quick so be careful not to burn the caramel).

    Coat the almonds evenly and pour on a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.

  5. 5

    Spread out the almonds so they don't clump together.(at this point you can sprinkle some salt or chilli)

    Leave to cool and enjoy! 😋😋😋
