Mix vegetables in healthy white sauce

For the white sauce: in a pan take ghee and heat it. When it melts add the whole wheat flour and roast it. Roast it till it becomes crumbly. Now add warm milk while continously mixing with the whisk. Also add the remaining spices and cook it till it becomes thick. Now add pieces of cheese slices. This gives a unique flavour to it.

Keep the ready white sauce aside.

Now in another pan take oil add the bay leaf, cinnamon sticks and black peppercorns to it. Heat it and when peppercorns splutter add the ginger garlic paste and saute for few minutes. The add the green chilli paste to it and roast for a minute.

Now add the chopped onions and cook till they become pinkish. Now add add the remaining vegetables along with salt, red chilli flakes and mixed herbs. Let the vegetables cook properly by covering the pan.

Now add the ready white sauce to the vegetables and mix it well. Cook for few minutes and switch off the gas. Serve the ready yummilicious sabji with roti or paratha.
