In a pot, add the kanten to the water.

Arrange the mandarin slices in a mold.

Turn on the heat and stir until bubbles form. Once it reaches a boil, reduce to medium to low heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes.

Turn off the heat, add the syrup and chilled milk and briskly beat.

Pour the mixture into the mold through a tea strainer. Once it cools, store in the refrigerator until set.
