Highly nutritious and delicious dried veggies are a current boom in my household Especially mushroom types. Since I never fail to have some stocked up, I have been re ing delicious recipes This time, the supermarkets were selling the packages of torn up shimeji at a cheap price, so I bought a bunch and dried them.

Since the flavor that comes out of them is really nice, you shouldn't reconstitute the shimeji mushrooms before adding to the rice cooker. But please remember to add them to the rice before adding the water. It also tastes great if you add carrot, aburaage, or other ingredients and cook everything together. Ingredients

3 servings
  • 360 mlWhite rice
  • 1 bunchDried shimeji mushrooms
  • 1 tbspSake
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 1/2 tspSoy sauce
  • 1/2 tspDashi stock granules
  • 420 mlWater

Steps

    The dried shimeji mushrooms can be found at. You have to dry for several hours, but they will give you a different texture and flavor from fresh shimeji, so give it a try.

    Make the rice as usual. Quickly rinse the dried shimeji mushrooms (don't reconstitute them), and add them to the rice cooker. Cover with the necessary amount of water.

    Add all of the remaining ingredients, lightly stir them together, and switch on the rice cooker.

    Once cooked, mix it all together.
