Peel and chop your apples in to Medium slices

Then put them in your pan with your cinnamon,brown sugar,and water and simmer for 20 minutes till apple soften

Then leave to cool.

While that’s cooling. Put grease proof paper in your tin for the pie

Then get your pastry out and gently put it in your pie tin.
Trying not to split the pastry. - 6
Cook your pastry for around 30 minutes on gas mark 9. Or 200Fahrenheit

Then add your apples and liquid.

Next make your custard just follow instructions on packet

When done add 1tbsp of caster sugar into the custard if you haven’t already, and your lemon Juice (optional).Then pour into your apples and pastry and leave to set fully.
