Ingredients

6 servings
  • 4 ozSelf Raising Flour
  • 4 ozPlain Flour
  • 2eggs
  • 4 ozHard Marg
  • 6 ozGranulated Sugar
  • 14 ozMixed Fruit
  • 8 Fl OzWater
  • 1 tspBicarbonate of Soda
  • 1Heaped Tsp Mixed Spice

Steps

  1. 1

    Pre heat oven to 160°c

  2. 2

    Add everything except the flour and eggs to a pan, bring to a boil and simmer for 1 minute. Leave to cool.

  3. 3

    Once the mixture has cooled, add the flour and eggs and mix well. Divide the mixture into two lined 1lb loaf tins and bake for 1 hour.
