Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2cup.Chana Dal
  2. 1 1/2cup.moog dal one and half cup
  3. 3cups.brown sugar
  4. 350grams.ghee
  5. 10-12.Elaichi
  6. as required.badam, pista dry fruits for decoration
  7. 8 saffron strips
  8. pinch haldi

    First dry roast your chana dal, moog dal into golden brown immediately soak in water for 20minutes let them soak so that your dough will be soft fir preparation.

    2.Take the water from two dals grind it in a mixie jar without adding water just split it in between take a iddli vessel steam the dals adding Elaichi powder. After steaming, cool down for some time then take from the iddli stand give blend in you mixie jar to your dough so that very soft powder like suji material. Keep it aside...

    Take one glass of water let them bool pour your brown sugar let them come to one string consistency then, add your prepared dough slowly adding melting ghee in between all your dough and ghee give a clockwise rotation for fifteen minutes then all the ghee will be absorbed in the sweet then cool it snd decorate with pista, badam, saffron strips serve it hot of cold your wish... Your diwali special ukarai sweet (south special) ready to eat. Everyone like this sweet...
