Ingredients

one hour
3people.
  • 1 glassUrad dal
  • 3 cupIdli rice
  • 1 cupRaw rice
  • 1/2 teaspoonMethi seeds
  • 1 1/2 teaspoonSalt
  • For sambar
  • 4 Onion
  • 2Radish
  • 1Imli one lemon size
  • 2 teaspoonSambar masala
  • 1 pinchHaldi
  • 1 teaspoonSalt
  • For tampering
  • 1 teaspoonRai
  • 1/2 teaspoonmethi seed
  • as required curry leaves
  • 1 pinchhing,
  • 2red chilli
  • For sambar masala
  • 3/4 cup:coconut grated
  • 3teaspoon, chana dal
  • 2teaspoon, Urad dal
  • 3teaspoon, Coriander seeds
  • 4Red chilli
  • 1Onion for decoration,
  • as required coriander leaves for decoration
  • 3 teaspoonSambar Thuvar da(har hardal)
  • 6 teaspoonRefined oil
  • as required.hing

Steps

    Soak your dal and rice and methi seeds, separately in water previous night at least 6to7 hours.

    Take a grider or mixie grind your dal separately, make sure your rice paste in a suji texture. (form)But urad dal you grind with help of ice cubs you will get a good texture.. Either in a mix or grinder.. When you test in a water the urad dal should dip and float nicely. Then your batter is very good you are going to get get very good iddli.

    Then mix your both dals mix with salt, have a good clock circle, set it for fermentation. It should take at least 4hours..

    Then take your iddli vessel pour some water let them steam fir sometime, in your iddli batter plates pour few drops of oil, pour your prepared iddli batter slowly cover your iddli batter vessel steamed and cook for 29yo 12minutes.your iddli will be ready.

    Sambar preparation:Take pressure cooker boil your thuvar dal let them steamed and cooked for 4to 5 minutes. Let them rest for sometime to open your cooker

    Meanwhile cut your radish, onion, tomato keep it separately.

    Take lemon size of immli pour some hot water let them rest.

    Sambar masala preparation:Take 4big teaspoon of grated coconut, chilli, chana dal, urad dal, curry leaves, hing, fry everything one by one. Add one cut onion also and mix it.

    Let them cool. All the wet ingredients pour it your mixie jar add little water and grind and make a good paste... Keep it aside.

    Finally take a kadai pour some refined oil taduka for the sambar.
    First pour some black rai, methi seeds, hing, curry leaves, red chilli, when it is began to split, pour and your raffish, onion and tomato and add your sambar powder, then make immli paste add to the mixture. When the raw smell will go add haldi, prepared sambar masala, after sometime almost your all flavour added add your thuvar dal paste finally add your sakt. And taste it. Give some onecteaspoon of jaggery it will give good

    Taste you your sambar. Finally pour in a big vessel your sambar slowly and add your prepared iddli let them soak fir some time decoration with onion, and coriander leaves.. But one condition your sambar should be very very hot condition. Then only all your iddli will be soaked and iddli will be so tasty and yummy.
