Cooking Instructions

Slice the onions and soak in water.
- 2
Cut the tomato and shiso leaves. Grate the garlic.
- 3
Squeeze the water out of the onions and combine in a bowl with the ingredients from Step 2.

Add the flavoring ingredients and adjust the taste with salt and pepper.
- 5
You can eat it right away if you like, but if you let it chill in the refrigerator, it will marinade the ingredients and become really delicious.

If you don't have shiso leaves, you can use finely chopped green onions.

And, he said it was better than the one at the restaurant.If you use sweet onions, they should not be too sharp tasting, but if you'd rather not have any sharpness, soak them in water to mellow the flavor.
