Ingredients

  1. For Paneer Chilli
  2. 100 gmPaneer
  3. 1Capsicum, diced
  4. 1Onion, diced
  5. 1 tbspGarlic(finely chopped)
  6. 4 tbspOil
  7. 1 tbspCornflour
  8. 1 tbspAll-purpose flour/Maida
  9. 1/2 tspRed Chilli powder
  10. 2Green Chillies (slit)
  11. 2 tbspSoy sauce
  12. 1 tbspTomato sauce
  13. 1 tbspGreen Chilli sauce
  14. to taste Salt
  15. For Lachha
  16. 1 cupWheat Flour
  17. 1 tspOil
  18. 1/2 tspSalt
  19. As neededWater
  20. as required Oil for roasting paratha
  21. For Roll
  22. 2 tbspCarrot, juliennes
  23. 1 tbspOnion, sliced
  24. 1Green Chilli, slit

Cooking Instructions

    For dough take flour, salt and oil in a bowl.

  2. 2

    Add some water and knead a soft dough.

  3. 3

    Make balls from dough, roll out with rolling pin, spread 1 tsp oil and cut thin long pieces.

    Put all the pieces one on top of the other and roll in circular shape.

  5. 5

    Roll out again and cook paratha on tawa from both sides.

  6. 6

    For paneer chilli, marinate paneer pieces with cornflour, maida and chilli powder for 10 minutes.

    Fry marinated paneer pieces in a pan using 2 tbsp oil till golden brown.

    Heat remaining 2 tbsp oil in a wok, put chopped garlic and slit green chillies.

    Add capsicum and onion, fry on high heat for 3-4 minutes.

  10. 10

    Mix all sauces together and add in capsicum.

  11. 11

    Cook on medium flame for a minute.

  12. 12

    Now add fried paneer pieces and cook till it becomes dry.

  13. 13

    Keep some cooked chilli paneer on a lachha paratha, add some carrot julienne, onion slices, slit green chilli and make roll with foil or paper.

    Serve immediately paneer chilli lachha roll.
