Boil potatoes. Peel their skin n mash them while they are hot. Let them cool down. When they are cool, add salt, lemon juice n gram flour.

Take green chillies, ginger n garlic. Grind them together. Wash lilva kernels n add to green chillies mixture n grind coarsely.

Take out the mixture in a bowl. Heat oil n add sesame seeds n cumin seeds. Let them crackle.

Add the lilva kernels mixture to it. Saute well for about a minute. Add salt, garam masala, sugar n lemon juice to it. Mix everything well n add coriander leaves. Mix again

Let the mixture cool down completely. Make small balls out of the mixture n potatoes. Take each ball of potatoes n flatten it. Grease your hands with oil.

Put the mixture ball in it n make a smooth ball carefully. Deep fry them on medium to high flame until golden brown.

Serve the lilva patis with your favorite chutney or dip. Green coriander chutney, imli chutney or tomato ketchup whatever you like.
