Ingredients

  1. 100 gmsPalak spinach -
  2. 100 gmsMoong dal -
  3. 3 spoonsSesame oil -
  4. 10 nosShallots -
  5. as required Mustard seeds - few
  6. 4Green chillies -
  7. 2 teaspoonsSalt -
  8. 2Tomatoes -
  9. 1 pinchTurmeric powder -
  10. as requiredWater -
  11. as requiredCurry leaves - few

Cooking Instructions

    Add moong dal, 50 ml of water, a spoon of sesame oil and a pinch of turmeric powder.

    Cover and cook for a whistle

    In a kadai or pan add 3 spoons of oil, once the oil heats up add few mustard seeds

  4. 4

    Add few curry leaves and shallots to the oil and saute for minute

  5. 5

    Add green chilies and tomatoes, saute until the raw smell goes off

  6. 6

    Add palak leaves and cook for 5 minutes

  7. 7

    Smash the dal and add to the cooking palak leaves

  8. 8

    Cover and cook exactly for 5 minutes

  9. 9

    Yummy palak moong dal recipe is ready to serve!
