Rajma Keema

An amazing twist to the ever famous Rajma with an added attraction of Lamb Mince or Kheema.
Simple yet an excellent twist for that lovely dish to be relished at mealtimes on any day.
You will just love this combo.
I actually added this just to attract my children towards it as it not only is creamy and great but the colour too looks tempting.
It turned out so well and they thoroughly enjoyed with the Rice as well as the Rotis. And I was relieved to a great extent and heaved a big sigh of relief.
Easily done just like Rajma but only with a difference of meat that is used in it.
Full of natural goodness of Protiens and Carbohydrates, this dish is a complete meal in itself.
Children as well as the adults will love it for sure. It can be enjoyed with any Indian Bread, Cumin Rice, Pulav, Bhaturas etc.

Steps
- 1
Wash and soak Rajma overnight. Soak in clean drinking water and keep it covered. Do not throw this water. Pressure cook it along with the same water for 8-10 whistles with a Bay leaf, Turmeric powder and a little of Salt. Keep aside until use.
- 2
In a pan, heat Ghee and saute Onions with Ginger garlic paste. To this add slit Green Chillies and all the spices. Also add finely chopped Tomatoes and saute all of that until done or until Ghee starts separating from the sides of the pan.
- 3
Now add Lamb Mince or Kheema to it. Mix well and cook until the raw smell vanishes and a nice aroma emanates. To this one now, finally add the boiled and coarsely mashed Rajma. Mix well and adjust Salt accordingly. Cook on a low for the next 10 minutes until everything gets incorporated well. That's it.
- 4
Garnish with more of chopped Coriander Leaves. Enjoy this beautiful looking creamy comfort food of all times with simple boiled Rice. The combination is just out of this World. Creamy and luscious Rajma or Kidney Beans is one ideal food of especially Northern parts of India. But it's a one dish that every Indian loves, no matter from which part they are. Such is it's charm.
And I have added Lamb Mince or Kheema to it for a lovely change. Enjoy!
