Steps

Take a deep bowl. Add the finely crushed tofu, grated carrot, oats, rice flour, coriander and cumin powder, crushed green chilli, coriander leaves, chilli powder, turmeric and salt. Mix well.

Take a deep pan and add the above mixture. Cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.

Let it cool.

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a 50 mm. (2”) flat round tikki.

Take a small bowl. Add little water and salt to the maida/flour. Mix well.

Dip the tikki into this flour mixture. Roll it in the oats.

Take a deep frying pan, put oil into it.

When the oil becomes hot, deep fry the tikkis till golden brown in colour from both the sides.

Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup. You can also put it in a burger and enjoy!
