  • Salad Ingredients
  • 16 oz.Fresh English Peas (Steamed and Cooled)
  • 4Eggs (Hard Boiled, Chopped)
  • 6 SlicesBacon (Cooked, Chopped)
  • 1 CupCheddar or Colby Cheese (Freshly Shredded)
  • 1/2Red Onion (Sliced Thin)
  • 1/2 CupGreen Onions (Sliced)
  • 1/2 CupShredded Carrots (Optional)
  • Dressing
  • 1/2 CupMayonnaise (I used Duke's)
  • 1/3 CupMilk
  • 1 TbspFresh Chives (Diced)
  • 1 1/2 tspGarlic Powder
  • 1 1/2 tspOnion Powder
  • 2-4 DashesWorcestershire Sauce
  • 1-2 tspFresh Lemon Juice
  • Salt (To Taste)
  • Black Pepper (To Taste)

Steps

30 Minutes
  1. 1

    In a Small Mixing Bowl, Whisk together the Mayonnaise, Milk, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Chives, Lemon Juice, Worcestershire Sauce, Salt & Pepper. Once Well Combined, Cover and Refrigerate for 20 - 30 Minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the English Peas & Bacon. I like to Boil my Peas for @ 6 - 8 Minutes, then Cool in Cold Water. I also Cooked my Bacon in the Oven at 400° for 15 - 25 Minutes (Depending on your Bacon) I placed the Bacon on a Parchment Lined Baking Sheet, and kept Checking it every 5 Minutes past the 15 Minute Mark. Bake until Crisp.

    In a Large Mixing Bowl, Add Peas, Red & Green Onions, Bacon, Cheese, and Eggs. Pour in Dressing, & Toss Well to Combine. Taste for Seasoning, & add more Salt & Pepper if Needed.

    Cover & Refrigerate for At Least 1 Hour or Eat Immediately if you Can't Wait. Enjoy!
