Found this pizza dough recipe online and wanted to post it here so I have easier access to find it.

It's a very good dough recipe and I like to roll out my pizza as thin crust and this recipe worked very good for that.

4 servings
  1. 1 packagedry yeast
  2. 1 teaspoonhoney
  3. 1 Cupwarm water
  4. 3 cupsall purpose flour
  5. 1 teaspoonkosher salt
  6. 1 tablespoonextra virgin olive oil plus more for coating

Cooking Instructions

2 hours
  1. 1

Proof the yeast by adding water honey and the yeast in a bowl for 5-10 minutes. This helps the dough and also tells you if your yeast is alive.

  2. 2

Add the olive oil, salt and 1 cup a flour and mix till a nice paste.

  3. 3

Add the 2nd cup of flour till mixed thoroughly then add the last cup of flour and mix till incorporated.

  4. 4

Once it becomes hard to fix the dough is when you want to poor the dough on a clean counter scrape the bowl and kneed for good 10-20 minutes.

  5. 5

Once done kneeding wipe a bowl in some olive oil and place the dough in the bowl. Coat the top of the dough in some olive oil and cover let it rise for couple of hours.

  6. 6

Once the dough has risen you'll want to pour on the counter and kneed again. Make the dough into a nice ball and cut it into fourths.

  7. 7

Take one of the fourths dough and tuck into itself to make a ball. Place on a oiled cookie sheet and repeat for the rest of the dough. Then cover the dough to let it rest and rise for about 10 minutes.

  8. 8

Take one dough ball and flour the counter and roll to your desired thickness.

  9. 9

Cover a pizza pan in some aluminum foil spray some pan or bush oil on it and sprinkle some corn meal on top the pan. Start sprinkling from a high above the pan to cover a larger area so don't overdo the corn meal.

  10. 10

Place pizza dough on pan and top with sauce and toppings and place in a 450F oven for about 10-20 minutes till pizza is golden brown.
