Turai is a healthy green vegetable that is light on the stomach.
Steps

Wash and peel turai and chop.
- 2
Heat mustard oil in a pressure cooker and add onion. Cook onion until it turns pink.

Add tomato, turai, ginger, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder and pressure cook for 5whistles.
- 4
Once the pressure is released open the lid and cook turai if water is left. Evaporate the water until you get the desired consistency.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti.
