Overnight Oat Maple Syrup Bread

First, soak the oats in milk overnight to let them absorb the moisture. This makes the bread soft, moist, and nutritious. The benefit of soaking is that you don't have to worry about moisture evaporating during cooking, which can make it hard to calculate the recipe. You also don't have to wait for the oatmeal to cool after cooking. Add the oats directly to the dough. Since oats absorb moisture from the dough, the bread can turn out dry if you don't soak them first.
I made this bread so that kids would enjoy eating it on its own, so I added a bit more sugar (though the bread isn't very sweet). If you're concerned about sugar intake, you can skip the granulated sugar.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Soak the oats in milk overnight and place in the refrigerator.
- 2
The next day, mix all ingredients except the butter until a preliminary thin film forms, then add the butter and mix until an elastic film forms. Let the dough rise for the first time (about 50-60 minutes) until it doubles in size, or until a floured finger inserted into the dough doesn't spring back immediately.
- 3
Divide the dough into 11-ounce portions (about 320 grams each), shape them, and place them in a baking mold. Let them rise a second time until they are 90% full.
- 4
Preheat the oven to 340°F/375°F (170°C/190°C) and bake for 28 minutes. Once the top of the bread is colored, cover it with aluminum foil and continue baking until fully cooked.

Overnight Oats Overnight Oats
I found a recipe for apple overnight oats in my feed and decided to make something similar with the dried fruits I had on hand. I used steel cut oats in the recipe, if you want to use other types of oats you may need to reduce the water, maybe ⅓ cup for rolled or quick cooking oats. This should make for a good breakfast. 蛟龍Stormwyrm -
Overnight Oats Overnight Oats
This means oats that you leave in the fridge overnight, and in the morning, you have a ready breakfast! I don't like oatmeal as a hot porridge, even though I really like oats. By preparing it this way, leaving it in the fridge overnight, the next day it's something between a cream and what it would be if you added milk at that moment. It's cool and I like it a lot. It's creamy but not mushy. Of course, there can be endless variations by changing the fruits and spices you add. This is the flavor I prefer (at least for now 😂). I make it and take it to the beach for my extra-morning swim! SitronellaTranslated from Cookpad Greece -
Overnight Oats Overnight Oats
Overnight oats are, of course, a healthy breakfast and they re easy to make, but they also feel like a special treat, sweet with dried fruit. Unlike oatmeal, uncooked but softened oats retain a fresh flavor and taste delicious cold. Top it with nuts just before eating for an irresistible crunch against the creamy oats.#GlobalApron Ricardo -
Sweet Maple Bread Sweet Maple Bread
I learnt this recipe in a bread-making class. The original recipe uses maple syrup, which as it turns out is quite expensive, so I wondered if I could substitute it with cheaper maple jam and modify the recipe a bit. Please adjust the cooking time and proving time depending on the type of oven that you are using! If you don't have any shortening, you can use unsalted butter instead but I think that this will change the texture of the bread somewhat (Replace 20 g shortening with 20 g butter).
