Dhokli Nu Shake

Saurashtra or Kathiyawad is always facing shortage of vegetables during hot summer but this problem has solution with different types of recipe and none of it needs green vegetables..be it Sev tameta nu shake, ganthiya nu shake or simple dungriyu...Dhokli Nu Shake is another recipe in that way. It goes really well with bajri rotla.

It goes really well with bajri rotla.
Cooking Instructions

Take water. Add grounded green chillies and ginger, turmeric, salt. Add oil too. Let it boils. Add besan.

Mix it well. Once it is done, spread it in greased flat pan. Vessel which we used for making Dhokli, add some water. Scrap it from every side. Keep it aside. Once spread Dhokli is set, cut it into squares.

Take scrapped water. Add red chilli powder, turmeric and coriander powder. Heat up the pan. Add oil. Once oil is hot, add this masala water in this. Cook it till oil get separated.

Once oil is separate, add 2 cup water. Add salt. Let it boils. Add Dhokli and let it boils.

Cook till gravy thickening. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with Bajra rotla.
