Homemade tomato purée 🍅

If you have lots of tomatoes and don’t know how to consume, this is one option for you 🍅
*This time, I cooked unpeeled tomatoes and sieve the skin later, but you can try removing tomatoes skin first too.

Rinse tomatoes and cut into bite sizes.

Heat a pan, put all tomatoes and cook under low heat.

Once the tomatoes become soft, add a pinch of salt. Mix well and continue cooking under low heat.

After around 1 hour, tomatoes become very soft as the step photo shows. Prepare a bowl, put a colander on it and pour the cooked tomatoes. Sieve the sauce and separate from the skin.

Tomato purée is ready! Sanitize your bin and store it.
