Custard
21/2 cupwhole milk
3 tbspCustard powder
1/4 cupmilk
4-5 tbspsugar (to taste)
Few drops essence
1 cupmix fruits (apple,pear,banana,pineapple,grapes)
Jelly
2 packBanana flavour Jelly Pack
Water as required

Heat milk in pot and dissolve sugar in it.mix custard powder in 1/4 cup milk smoothly.add essence in it.add this milk to warm milk with continuous stirring to avoid any lumps until custard turns thick.

Taste sugar as well.when custard is of desired consistency,turn off heat.let it cool first at room temperature.

Add chopped fruits in a bowl.pour custard over fruits and let it settle down.

Make banana flavour jelly according to packet instrutions. Pour in seprate 4 small glass bowls.let it cool down completely.

When jelly sets down completely, pour some fruit custard over it. Not in big quantity just enough to make a layer over jelly.keep bowls in fridge to cool and set.

Before serving,insert a knife around the edges of jelly in bowl to loosen its sides.then place a slight bigger diameter bowl over trifle bowl.turn it upside down carefully so as to turn the trifle in new bowl with jelly coming over at top.

Top up with red cherries and serve chilled.celebrate Independence with Cookpad😋😋
