Ingredients

45 minutes
Serves 2 servings
  1. 1 package(14 oz/400g) tapioca starch (about 2 2/3 cups/400g)
  2. Shrimp and pork, as desired
  3. Fried shallots
  4. Sweet fish sauce
  5. Scallion oil

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Gradually mix the tapioca starch with boiling water and a little cooking oil. Knead until the dough is smooth and you can form balls.

  2. 2

    Season the shrimp and pork, then sauté until cooked and dry. Make sure there is no liquid left to make wrapping easier.

  3. 3

    Shape the dumplings as you like. Steam for 20 minutes, or until the dough turns translucent and is cooked through.

  4. 4

    Top with fried shallots, sweet fish sauce, and scallion oil.
