  1. For marination
  2. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  3. 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  4. 1 tspkasuri methi
  5. 3/4 tspchaat masala
  6. 9 cubespaneer / cottage cheese (cubed)
  7. 1/4 tspsalt
  8. For besan batter:
  9. 1/4 tspturmeric / haldi
  10. 2 tbsprice flour
  11. 1/4 tsphing / asafoetida
  12. 3/4 cupgram flour / besan
  13. 1/4 tspsalt
  14. 1/4 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  15. 1/4 tspchaat masala
  16. 1/2 cupwater
  17. As RequiredOil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, ½ tsp chili powder, ¾ tsp chaat masala, 1 tsp Kasuri methi, and ¼ tsp salt.
    combine well forming a paste. now add 9 cubes of paneer and rub gently covering masala paste to paneer. keep aside.
    further, prepare besan batter by taking ¾ cup besan and 2 tbsp rice flour in a mixing bowl.

    Also add ¼ tsp turmeric, ¼ tsp chili powder, ¼ tsp hing, ¼ tsp chaat masala, and ¼ tsp salt. combine all the ingredients well.
    add in ½ cup water and whisk smooth. also, add a pinch of baking soda and mix gently.
    dip the marinated paneer into the prepared besan batter and coat it completely.
    furthermore, deep fry them in hot oil till they turn golden brown. finally, the paneer pakora recipe or paneer bajji is ready to serve.
