Ingredients

20-25 minutes
4 servings
  • 1 cupSevai (vermicelli)
    Semiya and Cherry Payasam
  • 2 tablespoonsGhee
  • 1/2 cupMava / khoya
    Sago Kalakand kheer
  • 1/2 cupSugar
  • 1 cupChopped dates, almonds, cashews raisins
  • 2 cupMilk (full crea and heated)
  • 1 tspCardamom powder
  • 1 tablespoonSaffron infused with milk
  • As RequiredRose petals to garnish

Steps

20-25 minutes
  1. 1

    First, roast the nuts in a tablespoon of ghee and keep aside after they turn golden.

    Then heat the rest of the ghee and slow roast the vermicelli till golden. Add the mava and roast again on low flame for a minute.

    Then add the milk, and cook while stirring till you have a thick mixture. Add sugar and remaining ingredients and cook till sugar dissolves. Then remove from fire. Cool to room temperature.

    Add the nuts, garnish with Rose petals and serve! Tastes best when chilled!
