Ingredients

  • Any type of bread you have
  • 3eggs
  • 1/2 cupmilk (no need for precision)
  • 1generous amount of olive oil
  • Additionnal garnish
  • Honey
  • Roasted almonds
  • Salt or sugar (depending on what type you want)

    Depending on what you are working with, you want the bread not to feel chunky in the middle, for example dont bother worrying about regular toast, but for something like a baguette you want to cut it to circles with a slight tickness, and strippes thqt are a lil chunky for mediterainian bread.

    Crack the egg in to a large bowl, add the milk (optionnal salt and sugar) mix really well till you get a batter that is equally viscous everywhere.

    Take whaterver bread you re using, try and press on it a lil if its too hard, then submerge it in the egg mix. (Note that the bowl should be deep enought and also wide to fit everything) lezve it there and get ready to turn up the heat

    Now take your Saucepan, add the oil to a medium heat (never fry with high heat), and start frying. Make sure to cook till brownish but not burn, and on all the sides (yes toast users, you gotta hold it sideways!)

    Annnnd thats it! Serve it with honey and almonds or whatever to be honest and enjoy being full!
