Steps
- 1
Dice the onion and press the garlic (or dice it if you don't have a garlic press) cut up the chili pepper.
Fill a large pan with a bunch of water (I never measure lol) and bring it to a boil. You can put in a Stock Cube if you feel like it.
- 2
Put the olive oil in a pan and wait until it's hot. (You can check by splashing in some water.) Sauté the onion and the garlic, throw in the chili pepper after.
- 3
Once the water is boiling and everything is sauteed, put in the chicken and just cook it.
Put the penne in the boiling water for 6-10 minutes.
- 4
Mix the cooking cream and the pesto sauce in a measuring cup (or whatever) and once the chicken is cooked, throw it in the pan. Let this sit for 4-6 minutes. Put some diced tomato on top if you want to.
By then, the penne should be ready. Filter out the water. You can make the choice of mixing it with the chicken or to leave it separate. I always mix it.
- 5
Garnish with parmesan, pine nuts and arugula if you so choose.
Enjoy!
