The best fudge brownies ever
King Arthur Brownies!!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 inch pan
- 2
In a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl, or in a saucepan set over low heat, melt the butter, then add the sugar and stir to combine. Return the mixture to the heat (or microwave) briefly, just till its hot, but not bubbling; it'll become shiny looking as you stir it. Heating the butter and sugar a second time will dissolve more of the sugar, which will yield a shiny top crust on your brownies. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl.
- 3
Stir in the cocoa, salt, baking powder, and vanilla. Add the eggs, beating till smooth; then add the flour and chips, beating till well combined. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan.

Bake the brownies for 28 to 30 minutes, until a cake tester inserted into the center comes out dry (though it many have a few crumbs clinging to it). The brownies should feel set both on the edges, and in the center. Remove them from the oven, and after 5 minutes loosen the edges with a table knife; this helps prevent the brownies from sinking in the center as they cool. Cool completely before cutting and serving. Yield: 2 dozen brownies.

One lazy Sunday afternoon I was craving some brownies. It was over a month since I had had a cheat day from tracking macros. I found a recipe that was pretty good, and just added some eggs and took out the butter. Viola the best brownies I have ever eaten and they are pretty healthy too! Just in case anyone else is tracking macros here they are for the whole recipe.Calories: 1070Fats: 34Carbs: 164Protein: 34Riley Kennedy

Homemade fudge brownies Homemade fudge brownies
They taste just like the fudge and homemade chocolate icing our grandmas, etc made back in the day on the stovetop. Except no stovetop for these! It has a fudge crunch and a gooey center. Sooo good! If you want them thicker, double the recipe. But I like them thin, because you can really taste the fudge crunch and brownie together. LISA DUNSON -
