Ingredients

  1. For kofta balls
  2. 250 gmcottage cheese
  3. 3medium size boiled potatoes
  4. 3 tbsprefined flour or corn flour
  5. 1 tsproasted cumin powder
  6. 1/2 tspsalt or as per taste
  7. 1 tspcoriander leaves
  8. 2green chillies finely chopped
  9. 2 tbspcashew chopped
  10. For gravy:-
  11. 2green cardamom,1 inch cinnamon stick, 2cloves,4-5 pepper corns
  12. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  13. 3medium size onion make fine paste
  14. 1/2 cuptomato puree
  15. 1 tspginger paste
  16. 1 tspgarlic paste
  17. 1/2 tspred Chilli powder
  18. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  19. 1 tspcoriander powder
  20. as requiredSalt to taste
  21. 1 tspdry fenugreek leaves
  22. for pate9-10 cashew+10-12 almonds +1tbsp melon seeds(make fine paste)
  23. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  24. 4 tbspmalai or cream
  25. 1 tspcoriander leaves

Steps

    In a mixing bowl add mashed potatoes, grated cottage cheese.add cumin powder, green chillies, coriander leaves and salt.mix well add refined flour.

    Mix all together. Grease your palm with little oil, take small portion from the mixture make round ball press in the middle and fill few chopped cashew cover and make smooth balls. Then rolled it with some refined flour.

    Prepare all the koftas. Heat a pan add some oil and put one by one kofta in oil.fry them on medium flame till they turn nice golden.keep aside.

    For making gravy Take a kadhai or pan add oil. When oil gets heat up add whole hot spices saute 30 seconds. Add onion paste and fry till turn golden brown then add ginger garlic paste saute until raw smell goes.

    Add tomato puree,mix and cook for a minute add all powder spices except garam masala powder. Mix and add little water keep stirring.cook for 3-4 minutes or until water dry up

    Now add dry fruit paste stir well.add cream or malai.mix again.

    Add fenugreek leaves and garam masala powder. Add 3/4 cup water. Cover with lid and cook for 5-6 minutes over medium flame. turn off the flame.

    For serving the koftas. Take serving dish add some gravy then put the koftas and pour some gravy on the koftas. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and cream.
    Serve with kulcha or roti.
