The Angoori Kofta name its self defined that something related to angoor, the kofta are given the shape like Angoor(grapes) so its called as Angoori kofta.
It had made slightly sweet in taste as little sugar added to the gravy.
This dish belongs to a north Indian cuisine. Small balls dunked into velvety gravy is a perfect combination. This mildly spicy yet flavourful dish We often order this in restaurant. It can be easily prepared at home using available ingredients.

STEP 01
Soak cashew in warm water for 30 minutes.
STEP 02
Grate the potato. In it add grated paneer, grated cheese, chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chilli and pinch of salt and mix well.

Put one or two raisins in the center make small balls like grape shape from it.
Prepare small balls from this mixture. - 2

Roll over it into dry cornflour and deep fry. Keep aside.
STEP 05
In a pan add oil. Add garlic, ginger, 1 chopped onion, bay leaf and saute.
STEP 06
Once onions are translucent, add chopped tomato, dry red chilli and cook it well. Also add soaked cashews.
Saute for 2 minutes. - 3

Once it is done, take it to a mixer grinder jar and after cool down, grind to a smooth paste.
STEP 08
Strain the paste to get smooth paste.
STEP 09
In a pan add ghee.
STEP 10
Add cumin seeds. Now add 1 chopped onion and saute it.
Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, dhaniya jeera powder and mix well.
Once it is sauteed, add strained puree and cook it. - 4

Now add salt to taste, sugar to balance the taste and kasoori methi.
STEP 12
Now add the kofta to the gravy while serving time only.
Top it with some shreded cheese and serve with roti or paratha. - 5
