Green garlic laccha paratha with matar paneer

  1. For matar paneer -
  2. 200 gmPaneer diced in 1 inch cubes
  3. 200 gmsMatar -
  4. 1Onion paste
  5. 1 tspGinger garlic paste -
  6. 1 tspCoriander powder -
  7. 1 tspRed chilli powder -
  8. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder -
  9. 1 tspGaram masala -
  10. 1 tomatoTomato paste
  11. 2 tbspOil -
  12. 1 cupMilk -
  13. as requiredSalt - to taste
  14. 1 tbspChopped coriander leaves
  15. 1 cupFor laccha paratha Wheat flour
  16. 1 cupFinely chopped green garlic leaves
  17. 1/2 cupMilk -
  18. 1/4 tspCarom seeds -
  19. 1/4 tspOnion seeds -
  20. 2 tbspClarified butter -
  21. 2 tbspOil -
  22. 1Finely chopped green chilli -
  23. as requiredSalt - to taste

Cooking Instructions

    For matar paneer - Heat oil in a pan add paneer cubes fry and take off now add matar and fry and take off from the pan and dip the fried paneer and matar into the milk for ten mins

    Heat oil in the same pan add cumin seeds to crackle. Add onion and ginger garlic paste and saute till onion turns golden brown now add tomato paste and mix well.Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix well.Now add tomato paste and add some water and saute for 4-5 minutes in medium flame

    .Fry the masala till the oil starts to leave the sides. Add paneer and matar with milk and mix well. Add water and bring to boil.Cook till peas are tender. Add garam masala and mix well. Gannish with coriander leaves,serve hot with laccha paratha

    For laccha paratha -Take a mixing bowl combine wheat flour,cumin seeds,onion seeds,salt and one tbsp clarified butter and mix well. With the help of milk make a soft dough.

    Divide the dough into four parts. Roll out dough into thin chapati spread clarified butter on it. Now dust the dry flour it and spread chilli flakes and green garlic leaves and fold it and make a cut marks

    Roll it in a circle like swiss roll. Now dust the dry flour and roll out paratha. On a heated pan make paratha applying clarified butter on both the sides.

    Serve hot with matar paneer.
