Sicilian Steamed Cauliflower

My friend from Sicily taught me this recipe. This is her mamma's recipe.
Use a thick-bottomed saucepan. If all the moisture has evaporated and the cauliflower is still not completely cooked, cover with plastic wrap and microwave until it's cooked through. For 2 to 4 servings. Recipe by Yumi-na

Steps
- 1
Separate the cauliflower into florets and rinse, then put into a saucepan.
- 2
Add the olive oil, wine, salt and pepper. Cover the saucepan and simmer.
- 3
After 5 minutes, stir quickly and cover again, cooking for another 5 to 10 minutes. When the excess water has evaporated, it is done. Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle grated cheese and serve while piping hot.
