Today's recipe is Dal Makhani made with masoor dal. It's very easy to make and also delicious.

First, rinse the masoor dal and cook it in a pressure cooker for 4-5 whistles. Let the cooker cool down. Meanwhile, chop the onions, tomatoes, green chilies, and ginger, then blend them together into a paste.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle, then add the blended paste and sauté, stirring continuously.

Add all the dry spices to the pan.

Once the masala is cooked and the oil starts to separate, add the boiled masoor dal.

Mix well, then add the butter and heavy cream.

Stir continuously for 5 minutes, then turn off the heat.

Transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with cilantro, and serve.
