Pineapple Confiture (Jam)

I used the appliance brand Ceraware's recipe for "Pineapple Confiture" as a reference. The recipe calls for vanilla beans, but I didn't use them this time. The clumps of fruit make this fresh and delicious. I think you could also mix the whole thing in a mixer and make the jam from puree. Yields about 450 ml of jam.
I didn't use it this time, but the original recipe calls for vanilla beans. I believe if you add it you can enjoy yet another flavor of pineapple jam. Not only making pineapple jam, but also making and enjoying mousse and jelly from the scum, and pineapple juice from the leftovers in the pot is my original twist. I think you could also make strawberry mousse from the scum, but you should definitely try it and see! Making juice from the pot is superb as well. For 450 ml of jam. Recipe by Shirufi-

Cooking Instructions
- 1
I used a smaller pineapple. After cutting off the top and bottom and removing the skin and core, the weight came to be 600 g. Use a blender to puree half of it, and cut the other half into 1 cm pieces. Set aside a pre-sterilized jar for later.
- 2
Add the pineapple to a stainless steel or ceramic pot and sprinkle on the granulated sugar. Leave for 1 hour. You can use any amount of sugar you would like, but 1 pineapple makes a lot of jam, so based on how much you'll preserve, I would recommend using 50%. If you're only making a small amount, then it's okay to lower the amount to 30%.
- 3
Turn the heat on somewhat high and take off any scum that appears. Don't throw away the scum, but save it in a small container. It will be for the pretty, lemon colored mousse and jelly. Please try it! Boil until the fruit juice becomes transparent, then add the lemon juice, mix together, and turn off the heat.

While it's hot, pack it into the jar and it's all set! Once it cools slightly, store it in the refrigerator. Pour 1 cup of water into the now-empty pot and slowly stir to dissolve the jam stuck to the bottom. This will make "Extraordinarily Delicious Pineapple Juice." Enjoy it after it has cooled.
- 5
With 1 small pineapple (600 g of fruit), you can make 450 ml of jam, 200 ml of juice, and 100 ml of mousse & jelly. You can enjoy 3 different tastes with just 1 pineapple. Please go ahead and try it!

Pineapple Jam Pineapple Jam
I made these for the filling for my pineapple tarts, but you can use it like normal jam for sandwiches or cakes. It's a simple recipe passed down in my family. The amount of sugar can be adjusted to your liking. The half ripe pineapples give the jam a slight sour taste, so if you prefer you can use ripe ones. Yoru -

Strawberry Confiture Jam with Fresh Strawberries Strawberry Confiture Jam with Fresh Strawberries
I usually simmer the strawberries if they are starting to go bad when I forget to eat them, or if I can't eat them all when a lot of them are given to me as gifts from several people. The strawberries easily get burned if there is no water when you start simmering, so please be careful. If you are not in a rush, leave the strawberries for a little while after mixing with sugar. If you simmer after that, you don't need to worry, as long as you don't simmer too long since the water comes out from them. Recipe by Hamumaki cookpad.japan -
Sparkling Strawberry Confiture Sparkling Strawberry Confiture
I make this jam when small, inexpensive strawberries are in season. After making it several times, I've settled on this method.Steps 2 and 3 may be rather hard work, but it really makes a difference to the results, so keep at it! Moisture is the enemy in this recipe! If you use whole strawberries there will be a lot of syrup, and if you cut the strawberries it will be quite thick. If you want to primarily use the jam on bread, use cut strawberries, or crush the berries at the end. Recipe by Yukiyuko. Cherry Jam (Confiture de Cerises) Cherry Jam (Confiture de Cerises)
I bought a lot American cherries on sale, and decided to make this jam. I accented it with kirsch. When I was child, I loved "sour cherry cake" and this jam is very similar to the flavour. I am so happy with the results. To retain the flavour of kirsch, add it after removing the jam from the heat. You can use any liqueur you like. The beautiful color of the jam is created by simmering over low heat for less than 10 minutes, so do not boil vigorously. If you want to thicken the sauce, take out the cherries, and reduce the sauce itself. Recipe by vegeful cookpad.japan -

The Sudachi tree in my garden produces more and more fruit each year, And I got about 300 fruit this year.I made this Sudachi confiture using about 50 fruits.Confiture is softer than jam. In this case, I used sugar equal to the weight of 40% of the sudachi because I used ripe sudachi. If you want to make a jam, use sugar equal to the weight of 50% of the sudachi. Taste it and adjust the amount of sugar. You can use the whole fruit including zest, fruit and juice. Recipe by EXILE LOVE cookpad.japan -

Coconut Milk Jam Coconut Milk Jam
Almost 14 years ago, I met this kind of milky jam when I was on a business trip in Kobe, Japan. A friend of mine took me to Igrekplus, a nice restaurant which also had a bakery and patisserie. Unfortunately, they are now closed...Milk jam was their speciality and it reminds me of my fun times in Kobe, Japan. No more online shop available to get that jam, so I made this similar jam!It goes good with toast, french toast, pancakes, milk, tea, and much more! This is definitely for the coconut lover!#heirloom n_u
