Ingredients

  1. 5-6chicken pieces 🐓
  2. 1 tspkashmiri red chillies powder 🌶️
  3. 1 tspturmeric powder
  4. Salt to taste 🧂
  5. 1/4 tspcoriander & cumin powder
  6. 1 tbspsunflower oil 🌻
  7. 1 tbsplemon juice 🍋
  8. For curry:
  9. 1/2 cupsunflower oil 🌻
  10. 4-5finely chopped onions 🧅
  11. 2 tbspginger garlic paste 🧄
  12. Salt to taste 🧂
  13. 11/4 cupfresh tomato puree 🍅
  14. 1 tspcoriander powder
  15. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  16. 1 tspgaram masala powder
  17. 1/2 tspbihari masala
  18. 1 tspcumin powder
  19. 1 tspkashmiri red chillies powder 🌶️
  20. 11/2 cupswater 💦 + 1 cup of water if needed 💦
  21. 2-4whole garlic knots
  22. 1/2 cupwhisked yogurt
  23. 2 tbspfinely chopped coriander leaves 🌿
  24. 2 tbspghee

    Marinate chicken 🐔: in a bowl 🥣 add chicken pieces 🍗, kashmiri red chillies powder 🌶️, turmeric powder, salt 🧂, lemon juice 🍋, coriander & cumin powder,oil and mix well, keep it for 30 mins.

    Heat oil in a large pan, once the oil is heated, add marinate chicken pieces 🍗, arrange them in single layer, fry for 4 mins on each side, remove fried chicken 🐔 to a plate, line with a paper napkin & set aside.

    For curry: in a same remaining oil, add ghee when heated, add finely chopped onions 🧅 & a pinch of salt 🧂 saute until onions 🧅 turn to golden brown, add ginger garlic paste 🧄 saute too for a few mins, add fresh tomato puree 🍅 and cook till oil comes out.

    Add spices, kashmiri red chillies powder 🌶️, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder mix well, cook spices for 1 min, add whisked yogurt and mix well, cook until oil starts to separate on top & sides, add 1/2 cup water 💦 and whole garlic knots 🧄add 1 cup water 💦, Let it boil.

    Add fried chicken pieces 🍗 cook for 20 mins mix well, check garlic knots if tender, remove from heat, garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves 🌿, serve hot.

    Serve with rice, indian flat bread(' phulka'), naan.
