Colorful Sandwiches for Parties Colorful Sandwiches for Parties
I came up with these cute sandwiches that I could even serve at parties. To make the lattice pattern, you can simply use cucumber and ham and it will look nice. But it's also pretty using other ingredients such as thin omelette (usuyaki tamago), so be creative and make different versions. They're really fun to make, too. Rose petal and strawberry sandwiches Rose petal and strawberry sandwiches
Elsewhere on Cookpad, I share with you my recipe for sour cherry and almond cake (https://cookpad.wasmer.app/us/recipes/2357113-sour-cherry-and-almond-cake). Today, it's the turn of my favourite ever summer treat - the rose petal and strawberry sandwich. Fancy a Victoria Sponge kind of vibe but don't have time to bake? This is the answer to your prayers. It's also far too easy to make. And eat. So I try to limit myself to a couple of special occasions each summer. My favourite? As a sort of celebration to mark the blooming of the first roses of the year. This recipe has become a ritual of sorts. Lottie Storey -
Kansai-Style Egg Sandwich Kansai-Style Egg Sandwich
I got this idea from a TV program and recreated it since it looked delicious. Our family's style is to make these with demi-glace sauce instead of ketchup.I always feel like making this sandwich the day after we eat Western-style burgers with demi-glace sauce. This is very easy and delicious. I really recommend it!This sandwich has a better texture and is easier to load with fillings when it's toasted so that it's crispy on the outside but still fluffy on the inside. You can quickly prepare the toast while making the omelette ♪ It takes less than 5 minutes and makes a fabulous breakfast!Enjoy this sandwich while it's still warm. This sandwich tastes even better once it has been allowed to sit for a while so I recommend it for your lunch box too. Pickled Plum & Cheese Chicken Tender Sandwiches ☆☆ Pickled Plum & Cheese Chicken Tender Sandwiches ☆☆
I thought up something healthier than fried cheese chicken tenders.Note: this is even easier to make if you use pre-cut baby cheese.Covering the chicken tenders with plastic wrap and smacking with a rolling pin to spread them out will be easier than cutting them open.I recommend cheese sandwiches for the kids, and pickled plum sandwiches for the adults.I like to eat these a little cold rather than freshly cooked so I often make them as a side dish for bentos.
