Steps

Soak both daal for 2 to 3 hours. After pressure cook it.

Heat oil in wok and add mustard seeds. Let it splutter after add cumin seeds and asafoetida.

Saute ginger garlic and green chilli paste.

After saute onion and tomato turn by turn.
- 5
Add daal and all spices.(Don't add red chilli powder) Add required water to adjust consistency. Let it boil.

Heat oil in wok and fry red chilli and garlic. Turn off flame.

Sprinkle red chilli powder on daal and pour this tempering on it.

Daal tadaka is ready to serve enjoy.
