Prepping this recipe is the most easy thing even a beginner can make it. A very simple and tasty sabzi and also very prompt to make. Also using green garlic and green onion makes it more delicious, though I didn't use it as it was not available but do try it out with that.

Steps
- 1
Take a Kadhai and add in oil. Let it heat and add in Asafoetida powder and let it cook for 5-10 seconds (remember not to burn the powder).
- 2
Add in the garlic and let it saute for 30 seconds and add in red chilli powder and turmeric powder and saute it (remember not to burn the powder).
- 3
Now take 1 cup onions and let it saute along with the spices we added before. Add in salt (it will help the onions to cook faster).
- 4
Now add in 1 cup Tomatoes and cook it along with onions.
- 5
Add in water, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and garam masala and mix it well. Cook for another 10 minutes and adjust the consistency accordingly. It is ready.
