There are so many things to prepare during Eid, so the easier and less messy recipes are go to for me. Over the years I have always looked for the easier version that tastes even more delicious! Give this a try!
Steps
- 1
To prepare the sewai layer, take a pan and on a medium to low heat fry your sewai. Gradually add ghee, powdered milk and sugar and keep frying. Once the color change slightly and fragnant, turn off the heat and let it cool.
- 2
In a separate pan, pour in the milk and add powdered milk and condensed milk after that. Mix cornflour with milk separately and pour in that too. and keep stirring. Add cream if you like. Once the milk base is thick and tasty. Turn off the heat and let it cool.
- 3
Take your dishes and start layering once the layers are slightly cool. First make a sewai layer. I use my hand to press and make it thick and concentrated, so that when you cut the layer they hold together. Now layer your milk base and repeat.
- 4
You can have multiple layer in one large dish or make separate dishes for more guests. Freeze them overnight. Decorate with pesta and almonds. Your delicious Kunafa is ready to serve!
