Squeeze all water from Lotus stem and potato.Mix all the ingredients of the kofta.Make lemon size balls.(12)

Heat oil in a pan,deep fry all koftas until golden brown on low to medium heat.Keep them aside.

For the gravy - Grind onion,green chilli and tomato.

Heat oil in a pan,add hing,cumin and the ground onion paste.Cook it for 7-8 min.or until the raw smell of onion disappears. Add all the spices except garam masala.Cook it for another 5 min.Add 2.cup water.Cook it on low heat for 6-7 min.Add koftas,cook it for 2 min.

Sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves.Your tasty Lotus stem kofta curry is ready to serve.
