Delicious Motsu Nabe (Pig Offal Hotpot) - A Speciality of Hakata Delicious Motsu Nabe (Pig Offal Hotpot) - A Speciality of Hakata
They often show popular motsunabe restaurants on local television, and I watched it thinking "OK, they use chicken soup made from a chicken carcass...". And I happened to be making chicken carcass soup, so I was motivated to try motsunabe. It was really delcious. I even surprised myself, a Hakata native! Please buy good quality delicious offal! If you add soy sauce and salt you'll have soy sauce-motsunabe, and if you add a generous amount of miso you'll have miso-motsunabe, so please try adjusting the amounts to taste. The vegetables I used are the same as the ones used at a certain popular restaurant (where the miso-motsunabe is popular)!I used a bonito flake and konbu seaweed dashi 'teapack' to make the dashi.I think it's quite tasty enough if you use chicken stock granules. Please be aware of the salt content though! The ground sesame seeds bring everything together and round out the flavors. For 2 to 3 servings. Recipe by Jirojiro cookpad.japan -

This is a family recipe passed down from my mom.She makes it without measuring the ingredients, so I recreated the recipe from memory. At my house, we first simmer half of the pork, and then heat the earthenware pot over a portable burner on the table and cook the remaining pork by swishing it in the broth (shabu-shabu). Carefully skim off any scum that floats to the surface. Recipe by Nonru cookpad.japan -
Creamed Corn Hot Pot Creamed Corn Hot Pot
I bought a "carbonara hot pot" pre-made mix the other day. It didn't taste the way I thought it would, but the kids loved the mild, eggy flavor. So this time I made a creamed corn carbonara style hot pot. It's different from the commercial hot pot mix we tried, but they liked this version better, so I wrote down the recipe.By adding white miso and cream cheese the soup becomes creamier. Please add potatoes, Chinese cabbage, or whatever you like. Seafood (I recommend clams) adds a lot of umami and are delicious. If you want to add more vegetables, add about 200 ml of water and 1 teaspoon of soup stock. Recipe by miyuki12 cookpad.japan -
My Favorite Salt Chanko Hot Pot My Favorite Salt Chanko Hot Pot
My family loves nabe (hot pots), no matter what season it is, and we especially love nabe with a salty flavor.-In Step 2, I explained the order for adding the ingredients, but basically if you add the ingredients starting with the ones that take a longer time to cook and ending with the ones that cook faster, you'll be fine. Please try adding your favorite ingredients and enjoy.-Because the ingredients (especially the vegetables) release a lot of water while cooking, I reduced the amount of broth quite a bit.-Definitely add the chicken, abura-age, and mushrooms because they release a lot of umami flavor when simmered, which makes this nabe super delicious. Our Family's Popular Cheese Hot Pot Our Family's Popular Cheese Hot Pot
I tried the "Cheese Nabe (Hot Pot)" base that is sold in stores for the first time, and it tasted good so I made my own version. Using cream cheese and white miso creates a deep and mild, delicious hot pot. This is my childrens' favorite hot pot - they'd never really enjoyed hot pots before. We enjoy it as a family. In Step 3, when you add the ingredients, do not add them all at the same time. Be sure to check the flavor while adding them. You can also microwave the broccoli to soften. Lastly, adding rice to make a risotto is also very delicious. If you have leftover ingredients, you can use them as is in the risotto. For 2-4 servings. Recipe by miyuki12 cookpad.japan -
