A healthy, yummy and filling recipe for kid’s Tiffin.

Assemble ingredients

Put water to boil

In a moderately heated pan add oil, add mustard seeds and allow to crackle for a few seconds, add Bengal Gram Dal + Urad Dal and sauté for 1 minute, then add ginger and curry leaves and sauté for a few seconds.

Then add Onion + carrot + capsicum + little salt + turmeric and stir fry for 3-4 minutes.

Now add semolina + chopped tomatoes + salt + sugar, mix and saute for around 1 minute.

Now add semolina, mix and saute for 1 - 2 minute, then add water and give a good mix. Keep stirring to prevent lump formation, Semolina will soak water and mixture will turn thick.

Add ghee, Simmer for 1- 2 minute under low flame, add roasted peanuts and mix well. Dish is done.

Paired with Mango juice as mangoes are in season.
