Okra Masala Subzi

Okra/Bhindi/Ladyfinger is a popular summer vegetable, prepared with many ways and variations. This simple masala okra recipe is my innovative one, now a favourite one with my family and friends.
The taste comes to par excellence with coconut powder, amchur powder, pizza garlic powder and lots of chopped onion.

Okra/Bhindi/Ladyfinger is a popular summer vegetable, prepared with many ways and variations. This simple masala okra recipe is my innovative one, now a favourite one with my family and friends.
The taste comes to par excellence with coconut powder, amchur powder, pizza garlic powder and lots of chopped onion.
Steps

Wash, dry and chop okra and onion. Arrange and assemble dry ingredients. Heat oil in a pan. Add ponch phutan and allow it to splutter.

Mix the chopped Okra, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and dry garlic powder with chopped bhindi/Okra.

Now add chopped onions and fry on medium to low flame till three fourth is cooked.

Then add dry coconut powder, roasted cumin powder amchur powder and mix well. At the end sprinkle salt as required and mix nicely. The delicious Okra masala with onion is ready to serve with steamed rice and roti.
