Aam panna, Aam Jhora, or panha is an Indian drink. It is made from unripe mangoes and is yellow to light green in color. Mint leaves are often added to the drink, enhancing its green color. Unripe mango is a rich source of pectin, which gradually diminishes after the formation of the stone. A famous Indian Summer Drink, this Aam Panna is a cooling drink made with Raw mangos, sugar, spices, mint, and ginger. It is sweet, tangy, and a great way to hydrate in the hot summer weather. This mango drink is vegan, gluten-free, and bursting with beautiful flavors. You can make it in an instant pot or a traditional pressure cooker. This Aam Ka Panna, also called the Kairi Panha.

Ingredients

10 to 12 glasses
20 minutes
  1. 500 gramstotapuri green mangoes (unripe dark green mangoes)
  2. 1 litrewater for Boiling mango
  3. 1 cupsugar
  4. 25-30no mint leaves
  5. 1 inchginger piece
  6. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1 tspblack salt
  8. 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  9. 2 tsproasted cumin powder
  10. Salt as per taste
  11. 1/2 cupchilled water
  12. 5-7ice cubes
  13. 👉 For Garnishing :--
  14. 4-5no ice cubes
  15. 4-5 tbspaam panna's pulp
  16. 2-3no mint leaves
  17. Chilled water as per required
  18. Thin slice of raw Mango
  19. Chaat masala as per required
  20. Red chilli powder as per required

Cooking Instructions

    First of all, wash and peel the raw mango and cut it into small pieces. Now add these mango pieces to the pan, add water and steam it on medium flame.

    Now cool the boiled mango and add it to the mixer jar and grind it by adding sugar, mint leaves, ginger piece, red chilli powder, black salt, black pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, salt, cold water and ice cube and crush it.. Keep the consistency of this pulp thick.

    Now strain this pulp through a sieve and mix very well. Now this aam panna pulp is ready. This pulp can be stored in the freezer for up to 7 days.

    Now add ice cube in a serving glass and add panna pulp to it.. Now add mint leaves and cold water to it and mix. Add 2 to 3 mint leaves broken by hand and thin slices of raw mango. Garnish by sprinkling chaat masala and red chilli powder on top.

    Now our chatpata and khatmitha aam panna is ready. Serve it very cold. Plate as you wish.

    🎯 Note :--- The pulp of Aam Panna can be stored in the freezer for up to 7 days.As you wish, You can also add jaggery, sugar or brown sugar instead of sugar in Aam Panna.
