Autumn Salad with Sweet Potato and Apple

I used sweet potatoes and apples which are delicious in the fall, combined with a cream cheese dressing that goes very well with their flavors to make a filling salad.

Cooking Instructions

Make the dressing: Soften the cream cheese by microwaving it for 10 seconds. Mix the ingredients marked ☆ in the order they are listed thoroughly.

Don't peel the sweet potato and apple; cut them up into 1.5 cubes. Put the sweet potato cubes in a bowl of water, then steam or boil. (They taste better steamed.)

Dry-roast the walnuts in a frying pan with no oil, and chop up roughly. Cut the bacon into 5 mm wide strips and sauté until crispy in a dry frying pan.

Wash the lettuce and/or other leafy greens or herbs you are using and dry well. Put them on a plate, and top with the items from Steps 2 and 3.

Pour on the dressing just before serving, and top with black pepper. Enjoy!
